BY SPOKANE VALLEY CITY COUNCIL
The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 06-013 passed by the City of Spokane Valley
City Council on the 9th day of May, 2006:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY,
WASHINGTON, ESTABLISHING LIMITATIONS ON THE USE OF THE OFFICIAL
CITY LOGO OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY,WASHINGTON.
Section 1: finds that the Spokane Valley City Logo is a symbol of the authority of the City; and states the
intent of the City Council to ensure that only appropriate uses are made of said logo.
Section 2: defines"City Logo"as that logo recorded under State of Washington trademark#31689.
Section 3: states that the logo shall be for official purposes as set forth.
Section 4: provides for a penalty for violation of the chapter.
Section 5: explains the procedure to obtain permission for use of the logo.
Section 6: provides for a severability clause.
Section 7: states this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect five (5) days after publication of the
Ordinance Summary.
