Sprague Spokane Valley, WA 99206 (509)921-1000 NOTICE OF ORDINANCE PASSED BY SPOKANE VALLEY CITY COUNCIL The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 07-025 passed by the Spokane Valley City Council on the 7th day of November,2007: AN EMERGENCY INTERIM ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY, WASHINGTON ADOPTING AN INTERIM ORDINANCE AMENDING SPOKANE VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE SECTIONS 19.40.010 RELATING TO USE OF RECREATIONAL VEHICLES; 19.40.090-100 RELATING TO ACCESSORY DWELLING UNITS; 19.60.010 RELATING TO SETBACKS; 22.30 RELATING TO FUTURE ACQUISITION AREAS; AND APPENDIX A DEFINITIONS RELATING TO ACCESSORY DWELLING UNITS; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING DATE. The ordinance explains that the ordinance amends certain sections of the Uniform Development Code (UDC), and that the ordinance will be effective for six months from the effective date of adoption. The ordinance also sets a public hearing for the matter to be heard before Council December 11, 2007. The ordinance declares that an emergency exists in that development without the amendments could occur in a manner inconsistent with the Comprehensive Plan goals and policies which may have an adverse and detrimental impact on the use and enjoyment of adjacent properties.
