The following is the, title and summary of Ordinance No. 09-001 passed by the Spokane Valley City
Council on the 24th day of February,2009
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY WASHINGTON,
PROVIDING FOR THE VACATION OF A 30 FOOT WIDE BY 607 FOOT LONG PORTION OF
TSCHIRLEY ROAD LOCATED SOUTH OF EUCLID AVENUE, AND A 30 FOOT WIDE BY 440
FOOT LONG PORTION OF TSCHIRLEY ROAD NORTH OF THE UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD
RIGHT-OF-WAY,AND PROVIDING FOR OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATING THERETO.
Section 1 provides certain Findings of Fact supported by Council to approve or conditionally approve the
request; Section 2 describes the property to be vacated; Section 3 explains the division of property to be
vacated; Section 4 designates the zoning as the designation attached to the adjoining properties; Section 5
lists the conditions of vacation which must be fully satisfied prior to the transfer of title by the City; and
Section 6 explains the closing procedures.
