The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 09-008 passed by the Spokane Valley City
Council on the 12th day of May,2009:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY WASHINGTON,
AMENDING ORDINANCE 06-010 ADOPTING THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND PROVIDING FOR OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATING
THERETO.
Section 1 explains that the purpose of this ordinance is to amend the Comprehensive Plan adopted
through ordinance 06-010; Section 2 describes the findings made by Council concerning the proposed
amendments; Section 3 states that the properties subject to this Ordinance are described in Attachment A,
Section 4 are the actual Comprehensive Plan amendments, described as CPA 02-09 through and including
CPA 08-09; Section 5 states that the Plan is maintained in the office of the City Clerk as well as the City
Department of Community Development; and Section 6 explains that the responsibility for compliance
with the provisions shall rest with the permit applicant and their agents.
