The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 09-012 passed by the Spokane Valley City
Council on the 16th day of June 2009:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY, WASHINGTON,
ADOPTING THE SPOKANE VALLEY SPRAGUE APPLEWAY CORRIDOR SUBAREA PLAN,
AMENDING ORDINANCE 07-015 AND AMENDING SPOKANE VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE
(SVMC) 19.110,AND 19.20.020,AND ESTABLISHING NEW ZONING DISTRICT BOUNDARIES.
The Spokane Valley Sprague and Appleway Corridors Subarea Plan and amendment to the
Comprehensive plan Map has been developed in conjunction with the annual review of the
Comprehensive Plan. Section 1 of the ordinance fmds that all Growth Management Act(GMA)and other
statutory prerequisites for the adoption of this amendment to the Uniform Development Code(UDC)has
been met and adopts other certain Findings of Fact, and Section 2 specifically amends 19.110 of the
Spokane Valley Municipal Code.This ordinance shall be in full force and effect on October 1,2009.
