The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 09-013 passed by the Spokane Valley City
Council on the 16th day of June 2009:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN MAP AND ADOPTING THE LAND USE
DESIGNATIONS SET FORTH N THE SPOKANE VALLEY — SPRAGUE APPLEWAY SUBAREA
PLAN.
The Spokane Valley Sprague and Appleway Corridors Subarea Plan and amendment to the
Comprehensive Plan Map has been developed in conjunction with the annual review of the
Comprehensive Plan. Section 1 find that all growth Management Act (GMA) and other statutory
prerequisites for the adoption of this amendment to the Comprehensive Plan Map have been met, and
adopts certain other Findings of Fact. Section 2 amends the Comprehensive Plan Map. This ordinance
shall be in full force and effective October 1, 2009.
