The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 09-018 passed by the Spokane Valley City
Council on the 22w'day of September 2009:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY, WASHINGTON,
LEVYING THE REGULAR PROPERTY TAXES FOR THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY,
WASHINGTON IN SPOKANE COUNTY FOR THE YEAR COMMENCING JANUARY 1, 2010 TO
PROVIDE REVENUE FOR CITY SERVICES AS SET FORTH IN THE CITY BUDGET.
Section 1 of the ordinance sets the 2010 Levy Rate for tax year 2010 in the total amount of$10,799.500,
and states that this dollar amount is $299,500 or 2.9% greater than the 2008 levy which was collected in
2009. Section 2 states that the Clerk will send the County Legislative Authority a certified copy of this
ordinance, as well as the other budget estimates once adopted by the City of Spokane Valley Council.
