The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 23-014, passed by the Spokane Valley City
Council on the 22nd day of August, 2023:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING AND PROVIDING FOR THE ACQUISITION OF LAND AND REAL PROPERTY
INTERESTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PINES
ROADBNSF GRADE SEPARATION PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR CONDEMNATION AND
TAKING OF LAND AND REAL PROPERTY INTERESTS NECESSARY.
Section 1 is concerning public use and necessity as noted within the ordinance. Section 2 is regarding funding
to include the cost and expense of acquiring property. Section 3 is concerning eminent domain as noted within
the ordinance. Section 4 speaks to severability, Section 5 notes authorization for any corrections, and Section 6
