NOTICE OF ORDINANCE PASSED
BY SPOKANE VALLEY CITY COUNCIL
The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 23-015 passed by the Spokane Valley City Council
on the 8' day of August, 2023:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY
WASHINGTON, AMENDING THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN;
AND PROVIDING FOR OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATING THERETO. The purpose of
this Ordinance is to amend the Comprehensive Plan as described in CPA-2023-01. Section 2 acknowledges
that the Commission conducted appropriate investigation and study and held a public hearing on the
proposed amendments to the Comprehensive Plan. Council has considered the Commission's findings.
Council makes and adopts findings specific to each Comprehensive Plan amendment as set forth in Section
4. Section 3 states that the properties subject to this Ordinance are described in the Comprehensive Plan
and Map amendments attached to the Ordinance as Attachment "A". Section 4 describes the Comprehensive
Plan and Map amendments. Section 5 states that the Official Comprehensive Plan with Maps is maintained
in the office of the City Clerk as well as the City Department of Community and Public Works. Section 6
addresses liability; Section 7 speaks to severability; and Section 8 provides for an effective date. The full
