NOTICE OF ORDINANCE PASSED
BY SPOKANE VALLEY CITY COUNCIL
The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 23-016 passed by the Spokane Valley City Council
on the 8' day of August, 2023:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY
WASHINGTON, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AS DESCRIBED IN CPA-2023-01;
AND PROVIDING FOR OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATING THERETO. The purpose of
this Ordinance is to amend the Official City Zoning Map as described in CPA-2023-01. Section 2
acknowledges that the Commission conducted appropriate investigation and study and held apublic hearing
on the proposed amendments to the Official City Zoning Map. Council has considered the Commission's
findings. Council makes and adopts findings specific to the Zoning Map amendment as set forth in Section
4 below. Section 3 states that the property subject to this Ordinance is described in Attachment "A". Section
4 describes the Comprehensive Plan and Map amendments. Section 5 states that the Official City Zoning
Map is as set forth in Attachment A to the ordinance is hereby amended; Section 6 adopts by reference
other laws; Section 7 states that the Zoning map is maintained in the office of the City Clerk as well as the
City Department of Community and Public Works. Section 8 addresses liability; Section 9 speaks to
severability; and Section 10 provides for an effective date. The full text of Ordinance 23-016 is available at

Clerk.
