A Spokane Valley, WA 99216 Re: Implementation of 2024 option year, Agreement for Geotech Engineering and Material Testing Services for Capital Improvement Projects, 22-114, executed June 29, 2022 Dear Mr. Fraiser: The City executed an Agreement for provision of Geotech Engineering and Material Testing Services for Capital Improvement Projects on June 29, 2022,by and between the City of Spokane Valley, hereinafter "City", and Allwest Testing & Engineering, Inc., hereinafter"Contractor" and jointly referred to as"Parties." The original Agreement states that it was for one year, with two optional one-year terms possible if the parties mutually agree to exercise the options each year. This is the second of two possible option years that can be exercised and runs through December 31,2024. The City would like to exercise the 2024 option year of the Agreement. The Compensation as outlined in Exhibit A, 2024 to the Agreement, includes the labor and material cost negotiated and shall not exceed $8,357.25. The history of the annual renewals,including dollar amounts, is set forth as follows: Original contract amount $50,000.00 Funds Expended via Task Order in 2022 <$ 3,000.00 2023 Renewal .. $47,000.00 Amendment No. 1 $15,000.00 Funds Expended via Task Order in 2023 ..<$53,642.75> 2024 Renewal $ 8,357.25(remaining funds) All of the other contract provisions contained in the original Agreement shall remain in place and remain unchanged in exercising this option year.
