RE: Spokane County Public Works Comments on the REVISED Painted Hills SEPA Checklist (SUB‐
2015‐0001/PRD‐2015‐0001) – Routed by the City of Spokane Valley on 9/21/2016
Thank you for allowing Spokane County Public Works to review the Revised SEPA Checklist distributed
September 21, 2016. We have the following comments to the Revised SEPA Checklist:
1. The site plan provided for the SEPA needs to identify the locations of the proposed off‐site
improvements.
2. The potential wetland (south of Thorpe) needs to be identified under the Water section of the
checklist. Painted Hills PRD Biological Evaluation and Habitat Management plan, prepared by
Larry Dawes, needs to be revised to address any potential impacts to the wetlands and DNR
stream.
3. Detailed plans, hydraulic analyses, reports and CLOMR application are all still needed for review.
