Now that your application has been determined complete, a Notice of Application will be prepared for publication in the newspaper and mailed to all adjacent property owners. A 30-day comment period will be established from the date of newspaper publication. The anticipated publication date is November 18, 2022, and therefore you may expect the comment period to run through December 19, 2022. 2. The City will route the preliminary plat to staff and agencies for comments. After December 19, 2022, all comments, conditions, or requests for additional information will be sent to you for a 14-day review period. 3. Spokane Valley Municipal Code (SVMC) classifies your subdivision application as a Type III application. The final decision authority will be the Spokane Valley Hearing Examiner. A public hearing will be held. 4. Once the public hearing date is determined, the City will contact you with instructions on submitting the public hearing notification packet and posting the notice of public hearing on the property.
