Dear Mr. Aldworth .
During installation of underground drainage structures on the above referenced project,
specifically the Phase 3, southern portion, Woodard Construction encountered "unforeseen
conditions" causing delay. With this correspondence Acme Concrete Paving is respectfully
requesting three (3) additional contract days.
Unforeseen Conditions causing delay include:
• Utility conflicts requiring time consuming re- routing analysis / approval
• Structure additions and Pipe materials substitution
• Additional / Parallel piping materials and structure accessing
• Repair of existing underground drainage structure and pipe (Drywell / CDF in SW
approach)
• Phase 3 continuation of the project wide over - excavation and CSTC installation

This Change Order grants two additional working days for over - excavation and additional storm
drainage work.
Total estimated cost (incl. tax) for this Change Order work is $0.00, paid for by an 79.5% STA
grant and the City of Spokane Valley. There are sufficient funds in the project budget to cover
these costs. The Change order adds 2 days to the Contract time.
