The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 09-033 passed by the Spokane Valley City
Council on the 8th day of December 2009:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY, WASHINGTON
MODIFYING UNIFORM DEVELOPMENT CODE TITLES 17.80, 18.30, 18.50, 22.20, 22.50, 22.130
AND 24.50 OF THE SPOKANE VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE, ADOPTING NEW STREET
STANDARDS, REMOVING ENGINEERING REQUIREMENTS INCORPORATED IN THE STREET
STANDARDS, AND CLARIFYING LANGUAGE.
The purpose of the ordinance is to amend the community development department responsibilities under
18.30.010; and to amend the public works department responsibilities under 18.50.010; the ordinance
amends SVMC 22.130 and adopts the street standards; and replaces entirely SVMC Title 24.50
concerning land disturbing activities.
