The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 09-039 passed by the Spokane Valley City
Council on the 15th day of December 2009:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY WASHINGTON,
AMENDING ORDINANCE 06-010 ADOPTING THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND PROVIDING FOR OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATING
THERETO.
Section I explains that the purpose of this ordinance is to amend the Comprehensive Plan adopted
through Ordinance 06-010. In section 2 Council acknowledges and adopts specific Planning Commission
findings; Section 3 adopts Council's findings; Section 4 identifies the property connected with this
amendment; Section 5 amends the Comprehensive Plan Map as set forth in the attachment identifying the
property; generally described as File No. CPA 01-09 changing the designations of certain parcels from
Low Density Residential to High Density Residential, and mentions applicants Dennis Crapo and Joy
Swenson; Section 6 explains that the Comprehensive Plan Map is maintained in the office of the City
Clerk and the City Department of Community Development, and authorizing the modification of said
map in a manner consistent with the ordinance as set forth in Attachment A.
