NOTICE OF ORDINANCE PASSED
BY SPOKANE VALLEY CITY COUNCIL
The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 09-040 passed by the Spokane Valley City
Council on the 15th day of December 2009:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY WASHINGTON,
AMENDING ORDINANCE 07-015 WHICH ADOPTED THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP; AND
PROVIDING FOR OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATING THERETO.
Section 1 explains that the purpose of this ordinance is to amend the Official Zoning Map adopted
through Ordinance 07-015, in order to permit the property described herein to be used in a manner
consistent with the same. In Section 2 Council acknowledges appropriate acts of the Planning
Commission regarding this proposed amendment, and adopts specific findings concerning CPA 01-09. In
Section 3 Council adopts certain findings connected with CPA 01-09 and this process; Section 4 identifies
the property in question as file no. CPA 01-09, with applicants Dennis Crapo and Joy Swenson and
changes certain parcels to Multi-Family High Density Residential District (MF-2) associated with the
development agreement, and Section 5 amends the Official Zoning Map.
