Description of Change: This change order provides compensation to the Contractor for the additional work to extend the water main and install a new hydrant. Work includes installation of 145 LF of 12" water main, appurtenances, and one fire hydrant. Additional surveying and erosion control is also included in the change order for this work. Specification: There are no changes to the specifications because of this change. Plans: Sheet 3 of the Contract Plan is revised and the following sheets are added to the Contract: Sheet 1/2 — Change Order No. 1 Exhibit A, Kemira Hydrant Extension Plan & Profile Sheet 2/2 — Change Order No. 1 Exhibit A, Kemira Hydrant Detail Time: No additional working days are added to the Contract for this change. Measurement: There is no specific measurement for lump sum items. Payment: This change order increases the quantity of existing bid items #119, 120, 126, 128, 130 and 133 and will be paid using the bid unit price. This change order creates three pay items: "Seeding and Fertilizing (CO#1)" per lump sum. The lump sum price for "Seeding and Fertilizing (CO#1)" shall be full compensation for all costs incurred by the Contractor for seeding and fertilizing the areas disturbed by the installation of the water main and hydrant work associated with Change Order # 1.
