The original Agreement states that it was for one year, with 3 optional one-year terms possible if the parties mutually agree to exercise the options each year. This is the second of three possible option years that can be exercised and runs through December 31, 2026. The City would like to exercise the 2026 option year of the Agreement. The Compensation as outlined in HDR Grant Assistance — Scope of Services — Amendment 2, 2026, to the Agreement, and includes the labor costs identified in the 2026 hourly rate fee schedule. The history of the annual renewals, including dollar amounts, is set forth as follows: Original contract amount.........................................$20,000 2025 Renewal......................................................$20,000 2026 Renewal......................................................$20,000 All of the other contract provisions contained in the original Agreement shall remain in place and remain unchanged in exercising this option year. The scope of work for each task assignment will be determined by the City of Spokane Valley with input from HDR. The hourly rates for each scope of work is provided in Exhibit B. The fee established for each task assignment will be the maximum amount payable for that assignment unless modified in writing by the City of Spokane Valley. HDR will invoice on a time and material basis. Task assignments issued under this Agreement may include but are not limited to the following scope of services: 1. Benefit cost analysis 2. Benefit cost analysis technical appendices 3. QA/QC for all deliverables 4. Consulting services for grant program selection 5. Technical and grant writing 6. Financial planning and rate studies 7. Cost estimating 8. Planning and design services 9. Engineering 10. Environmental consulting and resource management 11. Building, structure, and roadway improvements 12. Additional miscellaneous services per written request from the City of Spokane Valley HDR will provide a written task assignment proposal for each assignment under this Agreement. An assignment under this Agreement will become effective when a formal Task Assignment Document is signed by the City of Spokane Valley and HDR.
