NOTICE OF ORDINANCE PASSED
BY SPOKANE VALLEY CITY COUNCIL
The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 25-017 passed by the Spokane Valley City Council
on the 9" day of December 2025:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY, WASHINGTON,
ADOPTING A BUDGET FOR THE PERIOD JANUARY 1, 2026 THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2026;
APPROPRIATING FUNDS; ESTABLISHING SALARY SCHEDULES FOR ESTABLISHED
POSITIONS; AND OTHER MATTERS RELATING THERETO.
Section 1 adopts the 2026 budget, which is attached to the Ordinance; and in summary, provides the total
estimated appropriations for each separate fund, plus the aggregate totals for all such funds. Section 2 states
that a complete copy of the adopted budget, together with the ordinance, shall be transmitted by the City
Clerk to the Division of Municipal Corporations in the Office of the State Auditor, and to the Association
of Washington Cities. Section 3 speaks to severability, and Section 4 provides an effective date. The full

will be mailed upon request to the City Clerk.
