Re: Implementation of 2026 option year, Agreement for janitorial services, 22-182,

Dear Bryan:
The City executed an Agreement for provision of janitorial services on December 20,
2022, by and between the City of Spokane Valley, hereinafter "City", and Environment
Control, hereinafter "Contractor" and jointly referred to as "Parties."
The original Agreement states that it was for one year, with three optional one-year terms
possible if the parties mutually agree to exercise the options each year. This is the third
of three possible option years that can be exercised and runs through December 31, 2026.
The City would like to exercise the 2026 option year of the Agreement.
The Compensation as outlined in Exhibit A attached to this letter and incorporated herein
by this reference, includes the labor and material cost negotiated and shall not
exceed $87,720.00 for 2026. The history of the annual renewals, including dollar
amounts, is set forth as follows:
Original contract amount.........................................$71,280.00
2024 Renewal......................................................$71,280.00
2025 Renewal......................................................$85,680.00
2026 Renewal......................................................$87,720.00
All of the other contract provisions contained in the original Agreement shall remain in
place and remain unchanged in exercising this option year.
If you are in agreement with exercising the 2026 option year, please sign below to
acknowledge the receipt and concurrence to perform the 2026 option year. Please return
two copies to the City for execution, along with current insurance information. A fully
executed original copy will be mailed to you for your files.

same project.
C. With respect to the insurance afforded to these
additional insureds, the following is added to
Section III - Limits Of Insurance:
If coverage provided to the additional insured is
required by a contract or agreement, the most
we will pay on behalf of the additional insured
is the amount of insurance:
1. Required by the contract or agreement; or
2. Available under the applicable limits of
insurance;
whichever is less.
This endorsement shall not increase the
applicable limits of insurance.
