For which the Advertiser agrees to pay $1.57 per line daily & Sunday per agate line (We no longer publish on Saturday's). As a local government agency, The City of Spokane Valley also qualifies for a 30-day Multiple Insertion Discounts (MID's) as follows: the MID's are subject to the Multiple Insertion Discount rules. 1st Insertion ................... Earned Rate ............... $1.57 per line 2nd Insertion .................. 20% MID ................... $1.26 per line 3rd Insertion ................... 30% MID ................... $1.10 per line 41h Insertion ................... 50% MID ................... $0.79 per line 51h Insertion ................... Earned Rate................. $1.57 per line 1) No Stipulation or agreement except those contained in this contract will be binding on either party. 2) The Advertisers agree to furnish copy satisfactory to the Publishers at such a period of time in advance of publication as may be fixed from time to time by the Publishers. 3) The publishers will provide the advertiser with one affidavit of publication for each notice at no charge to the advertiser. Additional affidavits shall be provided upon the advertisers request for a charge of $2.00 per additional affidavit. 4) The Publishers will exercise due care to prevent mistakes, but shall not be held liable for errors, omissions or correctness of statements made in advertisements as printed. 5) In case of violent abnormal increases in costs of newspaper production due to inflation or other uncontrollable events, the rates specified herein are subject to revision by the Publishers on sixty (60) days written notice, whereupon the Advertiser is privileged to cancel this contract without short -rate charge, provided written notice of such cancellation is given before the dates become effective. 6) The Advertiser agrees that failure to pay for space contracted for shall be sufficient ground for the Publishers to discontinue publishing the advertising, but such discontinuance shall not abrogate this contract for all contracted space. 7) If either party to this contract shall be compelled to suspend business temporarily as a result of cyclone, flood or other natural disaster, strike or explosion, the party so disabled shall have the privilege of suspending operation of this contract for a reasonable length of time, the only effect on the contract being that no charge shall be made for space not used during such a period, and the expiration date of the contract shall be moved forward by a number of days equal to the duration of the suspension period. 8) Waiver by the Publishers of any of the terms and conditions herein shall not be construed as a future waiver of the same or any other terms and conditions. 9) This contract shall not be binding upon the Publishers until signed by their Classified Advertising Manager. 10) The advertisement rates identified herein include publication in both print and e- edition formats. tOVER AS TO FORM: "/ ' '/ /7 CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY ATTEST: by: City Jerk City Manager Date Signed: hw jm b� V wi26 z� ACCEPTED: Cowles Publishing Company and THE SPOKESMAN -REVIEW BY: 9"-4r� cah'� -classified-A-cvertisingf)-h=ton4dvertsing Sales Manager Cowles Publishing Company d/b/a THE SPOKESMAN -REVIEW CLASSIFIED ADVERTISING LEGAL CONTRACT For THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY Spokane, Washington 12/09/2025 The Advertiser agrees to buy and the Publishers agree to sell legal advertising space for a period of: Twelve Months (12) beginning on 1/1/2026 and ending on 12/31/2026, in Classification Legals.
