NOTICE OF ORDINANCE PASSED
BY SPOKANE VALLEY CITY COUNCIL
The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 26-005 passed by the Spokane Valley City Council
on the 5t' day of May 2026:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, COUNTY OF SPOKANE, STATE OF
WASHINGTON, ADOPTING TITLE 7, CHAPTER 60 OF THE SPOKANE VALLEY
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO VIRTUAL CURRENCY KIOSKS. The purpose of this
Ordinance is to prohibit virtual currency kiosks. Section 1 speaks to the purpose. Section 2 provides details
on the new chapter in SVMC and Section 3 speaks to severability and Section 4 provides an effective date.
