BY SPOKANE VALLEY CITY COUNCIL
The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 26-006 passed by the Spokane Valley City Council
on the 5" day of May 2026:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING CHAPTER 3.21 OF THE SPOKANE VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE TO ESTABLISH A
TOURISM OPPORTUNITY FUND, AND OTHER MATTERS RELATING THERETO. The purpose of this
Ordinance is to establish a Tourism Opportunity Fund in the SVMC. Section 1 speaks to the amendment to
SVMC 3.21.050. Section 2 speaks to the amendment to SVMC 3.21.070. Section 3 speak to the amendment
to SVMC 3.21.080. Section 4 speaks to severability and Section 5 provides an effective date. The full text
of Ordinance 26-006 is available at the City of Spokane Valley City offices as identified above. A copy
will be mailed upon request to the City Clerk.
