Dear Ms. Little: The City executed an Agreement for provision of federal lobbying services on June 6, 2024, by and between the City of Spokane Valley, hereinafter "City", and Cardinal Infrastructure, LLC, hereinafter "Contractor" and jointly referred to as "Parties." The original Agreement states that it was for one year, with up to four optional one-year renewals possible if the parties mutually agree to exercise the options each year. This is the first of four possible option years that can be exercised and runs through June 30, 2027. The City would like to exercise the 2026 option year. Compensation as outlined in Exhibit A to the Agreement includes the labor and material cost negotiated and shall not exceed $78,000. Any such "employees" or "volunteer workers" providing or failing to provide first aid or "Good Samaritan services" during their work hours for you will be deemed to be acting within the scope of their employment by you or performing duties related to the conduct of your business. 3.
