Alki Avenue, west of Fancher Way to the cul de sac, has been constructed
substantially in conformance with county standards and has been approved

File: 204.3.12(S) - Spokane
H. F. Grinalds
Office of County Engineer
Spokane County
N. 811 Jefferson Street
Spokane, Washington
Attention: Road Information and Maintenance Section
Gentlemen:
I have enclosed an exhibit print which shows by red outline two parcels of
land in the vicinity of Broadway Avenue and Fancher Way which we are selling
to Mr. H. F. Grinalds. Along the easterly boundary of this parcel is shown
a 60 ft. wide roadway extending from Broadway Avenue for approximately 900
ft., then turning to the east at right angles and extending to Fancher Ways
The Milwaukee Land Company, owner of the remaining property, proposes to
construct a 60 ft. wide roadway with paving, storm drainage and curb
gutters. We will probably want the work to commence not before next spring.
Will you please furnish copies of your specifications, standard designs,
etc., and any similar information which would be of use calling for bids and
insuring that the roadway as built will meet Spokane County requirements.
Please also advise if, after the road is constructed and inspected, the
County will accept a dedication of this roadway to the County.
Thank you very much.
Sincerely yours,
PAUL W. S TT, Weste Director
