Planning Commission Recommendation: Approve to Residential Mobile
Home Zone.
Background:
The Commission last year directed the staff to evaluate the existing
Multiple Family Guburban Zones in the Spokane Valley and to recommend
appropriate zoning for these areas because oftha impending change to the
Zoning Ordinance (deleting mobile homes and mobile home courts from the
Multiple Family Suburban Zone).
A. Reasons:
The LaConnie's Mobile Home Park Addition was designed and platted
for mobile homes on individual lots in 1967. All lots and standards
conform with the Residential Mobile Horne Zone. The platted lots are
currently being used for mobile homes and a mobile home court has
bean established to the north and east of the platted area.
