B. REASONS:
The applicant's proposal is for a bank and a professional office complex;
both uses are permitted uses in the existing Residential Office Zone
classification.
2. The Residential Office zone classification and permitted uses within
the •Residential Office zone are compatible with adjacent and surround-
ing land uses; consistent with recent Planning Commission Zone reclassi-
fications; and is consistent with the Regional Comprehensive Plan.
A number of property owners of the area opposed the proposed commer-
cial zone reclassification, but indicated that the residential office
zone would be more acceptable and compatible with the residential
uses to the north.
