City Council Executive Session

The meeting was convened in open session with Mayor Towey calling the meeting to order at 7:00 a.m.
City Clerk Bainbridge called the roll; all councilmembers were present It was moved by Councilmember
Dempsey, seconded and unanimously agreed to adjourn into Executive Session for approximately seven
and one -half hours to evaluate the qualifications of applicants for public employment, and that no action
is anticipated thereafter. City Clerk Bainbridge left the room and closed the door, and the Council began
their closed, executive session.
Mayor Towey called for a recess at 9:30 a.m., and reconvened the meeting at 9:47 p.m. Mayor Towey
again called for a recess for lunch at 11:45 a.m., and reconvened the meeting at 12:43 p.m.
It was moved by Councilmember Dempsey, seconded and unanimously agreed to adjourn. The meeting
adjourned at 2:17 p.m.
