Change Order 6, resolves two claims for extra time and cost due to unknown utility conflicts and
other miscellaneous items submitted by MJM on August 10 and August 24 2010. See
attached supporting materials.
The total estimated cost (incl. tax) for this Change Order work is $8,762.88. The City may
request a portion of these costs be reimbursed by utility providers who failed to locate the
utilities and the remainder will be paid by the City of Spokane Valley and the 80% TIB Grant.
There are sufficient funds in the project budget to cover these costs.
Original Contract amount = $1,298,320.28
Previous Change Order Cost = $41,247.33
Change Order #6 Cost = $8,762.88
Project Cost including Change Order #6 = $1,348,330.49
15% of Original Contract amount = $194,748.04
