The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 10-007 passed by the Spokane Valley City
Council on the 27th day of April,2010:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AS INITIALLY
ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE 06-010 AND LAST AMENDED BY ORDINANCE 09-039; AND
PROVIDING FOR OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATING THERETO.
The purpose of this Ordinance is to amend the Comprehensive Plan adopted through Ordinance No. 06-
010. Section 2 states that the Council acknowledges that the Planning Commission conducted appropriate
investigation and study, held a public hearing on the proposed amendments, and approves the
amendments to the Comprehensive Plan map and text; and adopts the Commission's specific findings.
Section 3 describes the subject properties as described in attachment A; Section 4 amends the text and
map as set forth in attachment A and B respectively; and then generally describes those map amendments
as
(1) CPA 01-01: Parcel #45182.9010, on the northeast corner of Park Road and Broadway Avenue; from
Low Density Residential to Neighborhood Commercial.
(2) CPA 02-10: Parcel #45114.9009, west side of Sullivan Road, about 1600' north of Indiana Avenue;
from Parks/Open Space to Heavy Industrial; and
(3) CPA 03-10: Parcel #45013.9104, between Sullivan Road and Industrial Park, from Community
Commercial to Heavy Industrial.
And text amendments for file No. CPA 04-10; 05-10; 06-10; 07-10; and 08-10.
