Re: Third Amendment to Professional Services Contract executed May 18, 2006
Dear Mr. Moore:
The City of Spokane Valley would like to execute a 3rd Amendment with ECONIorthwest, to that
agreement executed by the parties on May 18, 2006, concerning the Sprague /Appleway Corridor
Subarea Plan. The City proposes amending the Contract by requesting that both parties sign this
letter. The First Amendment was text only, and did not change the compensation level. The 2 "d
Amendment added services totaling $16,705 for an additional Community Workshop and Core
Team working session.
This 3" Amendment will add $950 to the total contract amount for travel and preparation
expenses for Troy Russ' (Glatting Jackson) participation in the Joint Planning Commission/City
Council meeting scheduled at the end of Phase 11. Terry Moore of ECONorthwest will not
attend the Joint Planning Commission/City Council meeting.
Upon execution, this letter will serve to amend the Agreement for Professional Services as
follows:
3. Compensation. The original compensation amount was $428,972. The 2 "d
Amendment increased the total contract amount to $445,627. By this 3rdA. mendment the
City now agrees to pay the Consultant the amended amount of $446,627 as full
compensation for everything furnished and done under this agreement in accordance with
provisions outlined in the original Scope of Work and as detailed in the 2 °`t Amendment.
