EXECUTIVE SESSION: Mayor Towey called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. It was then moved by
Deputy Mayor Schimmels, seconded and unanimously agreed to adjourn into executive session for
approzimately sixty minutes to evaluate the qualifications of candidates for appointment to elective office
[RCW 42. 30.110(1) (h)J, and that action is anticipated thereafter during the regular 6.• 00 p. m. council
meeting. Council adjourned into executive session at 5:01 p.m. At approximately 5:17 p.m., Mayor
Towey declared council out of executive session and it was then moved by Deputy Mayor Schimmels,
seconded and unanimously agreed to adjourn. The meeting adjourned at 5:18 p.m.
