THIS AMENDMENT No. 1 is made to the Agreement for Professional Services dated Januarry
30. 2007 by and between the City of Spokane Valley, a code City of the State of Washington, hereinafter
"City" and ORB Architects, Inc., hereinafter "Consultant" and jointly referred to as "parties."
Pursuant to Section 1.C. of the Agreement, the parties hereby agree to amend the contract
scope of work. A description of the amended scope is included in the attached letter
dated 24 September 2007 from Geoff E. Anderson to Mike Jackson.
Original Contract Lump Sum Fee: $196,711
Amendment No. 1 Fee $ 4.000
Revised Contract Lump Sum Fee: $200,711
The remainder of the Agreement will remain unchanged by this Amendment.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have executed this Agreement this
day of October, 2007.

Connecting Valley Mission to public sewer and re- routing water
Dear Mike:
Per your direction, I am providing you with the following fee proposal for additional services at the Valley
Mission Pool to connect the existing facility and bathroom building to the public sewer and re- routing the
water lines as necessary to avoid construction conflicts as well as increase the water efficiency of the pool
and separate services from neighboring Splash Down.
Design Fees:
ORB Architects - Architecture
$700
Adams & Clark, Inc. - Civil Engineering $3,000
Overhead & Profit (10%) $300
Total A/E Additional Design Fee $4,000
