THIS AMENDMENT No. 1 is made to the Agreement for Professional Services dated
May 17'', 2007 by and between the City of Spokane Valley, a code City of the State of
Washington, hereinafter "City" and Gavin Associates, hereinafter "Consultant" and
jointly. referred to as "parties."
Pursuant to Sections 1C and 18 of the Agreement, the parties hereby agree to
amend the Agreement as set forth in the attached Proposal and Detailed Scope
of Work. These services will be tracked and billed on time and materials basis,
and are subject to all of the conditions set forth in the original Agreement. The
City agrees to pay Consultant up to $3,000.00 for the additional services
provided for in this Amendment to the Agreement.
Exhibits to this Amendment are as follows:
1. Professional Services Agreement dated May 17, 2007;
2. Exhibit A, Request for Additional Fees for Added Scope of Work for: Mission
Valley Park — Site Master Plan
Original Contract Amount $ 6,000.00
Prior amendments $ -0-
Current Amendment Amount $ 3,000.00
Amended Contract Amount $ 9,000.00
The remainder of the Agreement will remain unchanged by this Amendment.

Existing Contract # 07 -013
Mr. Jackson
Based upon providing additional scope of work, we are requesting our existing fee of $6,000.00
be increased to $9,000.00. Additional scope of work includes the following:
• Site security lighting — Coffman Engineers, sub consultant
Will provide quantity of site lights, power availability and cost opinion.
• Parking lot expansion
• Additional parking lots
• Additional walkways
• Cost Estimating
• Master plan in 'Color' instead of 'Black & White'
We will continue to charge on a 'T & M' basis.
