Sprague Spokane Valley,WA 99206 (509)921-1000 NOTICE OF ORDINANCE PASSED BY SPOKANE VALLEY CITY COUNCIL The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 11-006 passed by the Spokane Valley City Council on the 26th day of April 2011: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY, WASHINGTON AMENDING ORDINANCE 07-015 AND SPOKANE VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE SECTIONS 19.40.150 AMENDING REGULATIONS FOR THE KEEPING OF LIVESTOCK IN MIXED-USE ZONING DISTRICTS. This ordinance amends Spokane Valley Municipal Code 19.40.150 to state that the minimum lot requirements for keeping poultry and livestock (except swine and chickens) is 40,000 square feet in a residential zone, and in mixed-used zones, on lots or tracts with legally established residential uses that exceed 40,000 square feet.
