Re: Sullivan & Indiana PCCP Intersection — Signal Design Participation,
Construction Inspection, and Temp Signal Work (Agreement to Pay Fees);
JG6362 Group 01 and 02
Dear Steve:
Washington State Department of Transportation ( WSDOT) involvement will be
necessary for the City of Spokane Valley's (CITY) Sullivan & Indiana PCCP I/S
project. The project work will have impacts to the existing signal system at
Sullivan & Indiana as well as operational impacts to the entire Interchange area.
WSDOT will provide review of the CITY's signal plans and provide plan sheets
for the output files and terminations in the signal cabinet. WSDOT will also
inspect the installation of the signal components during construction and perform
work for operating a temporary signal system at the interchange. In order for
WSDOT to perform this work we will need to enter into an agreement to be
reimbursed for the costs that we incur. This agreement to pay fees is to reimburse
WSDOT the actual cost of performing the work as described above up to a
maximum amount of $4,142 for design and $8041.33 for construction which
also includes temporary signal work. Should we need to exceed this amount, this
agreement will need to be modified by both parties.
WSDOT has established account Number JG 6362, Group 01 (design) and Group
02 (inspection) for billing purposes to cover the actual charges for our work. A
billing will be submitted each month with the charges that are incurred, until the
project is complete. Payment is required within 30 days of receipt of each billing
to avoid any additional charges. An annually adjusted administrative overhead
percentage will also be added (currently this is 9.25 %).
The Department requests that you acknowledge the JG account by completing the
Endorsement below and returning this original letter to the Traffic Office. If you
