Resolution 11-007 Amend 2011 TIP CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY
SPOKANE COUNTY, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NO. 11-007
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2011 TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT
PROGRAM FOR THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY.
WHEREAS, the City Council for Spokane Valley did adopt by Resolution No. 10-013 the 2011-
2016 Six-Year Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) with such program acting as a guide for the
coordinated development of the City's transportation system; and
WHEREAS, on March 29, 201 l, the City Council for Spokane Valley adopted Resolution No.
I 1-003, Amending the 20l 1 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) with such program acting as a
work plan for the city's transportation improvements; and
WHEREAS, changes in certain funding sources and project schedules have occurred; and
WHEREAS, the attached Amendment #2 to the 201 l TIP does incorporate said changes for year
201 l; and
WHEREAS, this Amendment #2 to the 2011 TIP is consistent with Spokane Valley's adopted
Comprehensive Plan; and
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Spokane Valley, Spokane
County, Washington, as follows:
The City Council hereby adopts the attached Amendment #2 to the 2011 TIP for the City of
Spokane Valley for the purpose of guiding the design, development and construction of local and regional
transportation improvements for the year 201 L The Amendment #2 to the 20l 1 TIP shall, at least, be
annually reviewed for the purpose of determining the work accomplished under the program and the City
transportation requirements.
Projects and timeframes identified in the TIP are to be considered estimates only that may change
due to a variety of circumstances, and are not intended by the City to be relied upon by property owners
or developers in making development decisions.
