It extends Contract time by 1.5 days, to compensate for time lost by the Contractor waiting to get the Bridge Approach Slab steel stamped by a WSDOT inspector. It also pays for temporary installation of Type 2 Concrete Barriers in the Sullivan Road Centerline median north of Indiana Avenue so that the City can reroute traffic during future bridge repair projects. The total estimated cost (incl. tax) for this Change Order work is - $6,716.80 paid for by a 79.5% Spokane Transit Authority (STA) grant, a $100,000 WSDOT grant and the City of Spokane Valley. There are sufficient funds in the project budget to cover these costs. The unit price does not include providing temporary traffic control. The unit price shall hold for a time, not to exceed six months from the date of instaalation.
