Special Meeting Executive Session
July 22, 2004 4:00 p.m.
Spokane Valley City, Hall,
11707 E. Sprague Avenue, 2 Floor Conference Room
Mayor Michael DeVleming called the special meeting to order at 4:10 p.m.
Councilmembers present: Mayor Michael DeVleming, Deputy Mayor Diana Wilhite, Councilmembers
Dick Denenny, Mike Flanigan, Rich Munson, Gary Schimmels, and Steve 'Taylor.
Others present: Facilitator Stan McNutt; City Clerk Chris Bainbridge
Mayor DeVleming advised that Council will recess to executive session for approximately two hours for
a personnel evaluation, and that the Council will not reconvene back into a regular session.
It was moved by Deputy Mayor Wilhite and seconded by Councilmember Munson to adjourn into
Executive Session for approximately two hours for a personnel evaluation, and not reconvene back into a
regular session. Vote by Acclamation: Ayes: Unanimous. Motion carried. City Clerk Bainbridge left the
room. Council held the executive session. At approximately 6:00 p.m. Deputy Mayor Wilhite
announced the executive session would extend longer than the initially estimated two hours.
It was moved, seconded, and unanimously agreed upon to adjourn. The meeting adjourned at 7:54 p.m.
