Re: Change Order /1 and 2 for Salt Storage Building
Change Order 1 is for the addition of 7/16" OSB and felt paper located under the roof material to
prevent condensation from dripping from the metal roof. A barrier was not included in the
original scope of work. Materials and installation of the vapor barrier is $3,303.12.
Change Order 2 pays for the additional concrete required for post placement due to the soil
conditions and metal debris excavated per post hole. The design called for .88 yards per post
for a total of 17.6 yards. A total of 40.6 yards were used. The additional yardage with tax
amounted to $2,246.83. This includes all additional excavation, concrete and labor.
Original Contract amount = $55,784.84
