The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 12-020 passed by the Spokane Valley City
Council on the 31st day of July,2012:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING SECTION 8.25.025 OF THE SPOKANE VALLEY
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO CHARITABLE SOLICITATIONS IN THE RIGHT OF
WAY; AND OTHER MATTERS RELATING THERETO.
The changes in the ordinance include:
Removes language concerning an exception for special event permits to engage in charitable solicitation
that was not removed when the City amended SVMC 5.15 removing such permits; removes language
concerning SVMC 6.05 Park Regulations; and adds language concerning paved shoulders and bike lines.
