The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 12-026 passed by the Spokane Valley City
Council on the 23rd day of October, 2012:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY,
WASHINGTON,AMENDING SECTIONS 7.05.020,7.05.030,7.05.040,7.05.050,AND 7.05.060 OF
THE SPOKANE VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO NUISANCE CONDITIONS ON
PRIVATE PROPERTY;AND OTHER MATTERS RELATING THERETO.
Sections 1 Definitions, and 2 Compliance, were amended to further clarify those sections, and Section 3
regarding types of nuisance, includes changes to 7.05.040 to include any public rights-of-way abutting a
person, firm, or entity's property, and to further explain the restrictions of overhanging or obstructing
vegetation. The section dealing with Noise was amended to include with more specificity, what types of
noises are prohibited, and Section 4 regarding the initial investigation, was amended to further clarify the
regulations.
