Change Order 2 makes a series of revisions to the stormwater design based on Fiber Optic duct
Banks and Concrete Asbestos Watermains that were not located on the project survey. The
utilities were in direct conflict with the proposed drainage design. A redesign has been
completed changing structures types, pipe sizes, adjustments and connections to drywells along
with type of storm drain encasement.
The total estimated cost (incl. tax) for this Change Order work is $461, paid for by a CMAQ
grant and the City of Spokane Valley. See the attached 2012 Sidewalk Infill Project
Spreadsheet. There are sufficient funds in the project budget to cover these costs.

the existing drywell frame and grate, delivery to the City of Spokane Valley, installation and
adjustment of a new frame and solid cover conforming to Spokane Valley Standard Plan S-
104 as shown in the Plans and other related items.

The unit contract price per each for "Curb Inlet, Type 2" shall be full pay for furnishing the
tools, labor, equipment, and materials including, but not limited to: structure excavation
Class B including haul; furnishing and installing the curb inlet structure conforming to COSV
