The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 12-029 passed by the Spokane Valley City
Council on the 11111 day of December, 2012:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY,
WASHINGTON, ADOPTING CHAPTER 9.30 OF THE SPOKANE VALLEY MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO MISCELLANEOUS VEHICLE REGULATIONS; AND OTHER
MATTERS RELATING THERETO.
Section 1 adopts a new section to the Spokane Valley Municipal Code of 9.30.010 regarding purpose and
authority concerning regulating the kinds and classes of traffic, parking and vehicular noise on certain
streets. Section 2 adopts a new section to the Spokane Valley Municipal Code of 9.30.020 regarding
definitions of terms used within that Code chapter. Section 3 adopts a new section to the Spokane Valley
Municipal Code of 9.30.030 regarding"No Trucks" signs, the posting of such signs, and stating vehicles
that are exempt from those provisions. Section 4 adopts a new section to the Spokane Valley Municipal
Code of 9.30.040 regarding liability of the owner for violations. Section 5 adopts a new section to the
Spokane Valley Municipal Code of 9.30.050 regarding the prohibition of excessive noise from vehicles.
Section 6 adopts a new section to the Spokane Valley Municipal Code of 9.30,060 regarding limiting
idling of commercial vehicles in residentially-zones areas. Section 7 adopts a new section to the Spokane
Valley Municipal Code of 9.30.070 regarding limiting the operation of refrigeration units on certain
vehicles. Section 8 adopts a new section to the Spokane Valley Municipal Code 9.30.080 regarding
