The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 13-005 passed by the Spokane Valley City
Council on the 28th day of May, 2013:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING SPOKANE VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE SECTIONS 7.30.035, 7.30.040, AND
7.30.045, RELATING TO DANGEROUS DOG DETERMINATION APPEALS, POTENTIALLY
DANGEROUS DOG DETERMINATION APPEALS, REGISTRATION OF DANGEROUS DOGS,
AND OTHER MATTERS RELATING THERETO.
The primary purposes of this amendment is to differentiate and state which offense shall be either a
misdemeanor or gross misdemeanor; to change the insurance requirements regarding the amount of the
deductible; and to be consistent with the regulations of Spokane County as per the Interlocal Agreement
between Spokane County and Spokane Valley.
