Dear Ms. Note:
The Washington State Department of Transportation ( WSDOT) will design,
administer, install, and maintain 1 -90 Business Route signing on I -90 at the eastbound
Appleway Blvd /Sprague Ave Exit (Exit 285) and westbound Barker Road Exit (Exit
293) interchanges. The work includes removal of exiting signs and the installation of
new redesigned signs that include 1 -90 Business Loop shields. Replacement of the
existing signs is expected to be in the summer /early fall of 2013.
In order for WSDOT to perform this work, we will need to enter into an agreement to
be reimbursed for the costs that we incur. This agreement to pay fees is to reimburse
WSDOT the actual costs of this request at an estimated cost of $20,515 with the
maximum expenditure allowed up to 10.0% over, or $22,566.50 (see attached
estimate).
WSDOT has established account Number JG 6403 Group 01 for billing purposes to
cover the actual changes for our work. A billing will be submitted each month with
the changes that are incurred, until the project is completed. Payment is required
within 30 days of receipt of each billing to avoid any additional charges. An annual
adjusted administrative overhead percentage was included in the estimated agreement
(currently as of July 2013 this is 8.99 %).
