BY SPOKANE VALLEY CITY COUNCIL
The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 18-014 passed by the Spokane Valley City Council
on the 3131 day of July 2018:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN;AND PROVIDING FOR
OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATING THERETO.
Section 1 states that the purpose of this Ordinance is to amend the Comprehensive Plan. Section 2 makes
general findings applicable to all proposed amendments. Section 3 states that the properties subject to this
ordinance are described in the attached maps. Section 4 makes specific findings to each proposed
amendment and states the Council decision to approve each amendment except the CPA-2018-0003
amendment request is denied. Section 5 states that the Plan and maps will be maintained in the office of the
City Clerk and the City's Department of Community and Public Works. Section 6 addresses liability;
Section 7 speaks of severability; and Section 8 provides for an effective date.
