The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 18-019 passed by the Spokane Valley City Council
on the 28th day of August 2018:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY,
WASHINGTON, REPEALING CHAPTER 7.40 SPOKANE VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO ELECTRONIC CIGARETTES AND RELATED DEVICES, AND OTHER
MATTERS RELATING THERETO.
Section 1 states that the purpose of this ordinance is to repeal chapter 7.40 Spokane Valley Municipal Code
(SVMC)because substantially similar state laws have been adopted; Section 2 repeals Chapter 7.40 of the
SVMC; Section 3 addresses severability; and Section 4 calls for an effective date.
