The following is the title and summary of Ordinance No. 18-020 passed by the Spokane Valley City Council
on the 25'x' day of September 2018:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SPOKANE VALLEY, SPOKANE COUNTY, WASHINGTON
REPEALING EXISTING CHAPTER 5.05 OF THE SPOKANE VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE
PERTAINING TO BUSINESS LICENSES, ADOPTING A NEW CHAPTER 5.05 OF THE SPOKANE
VALLEY MUNICIPAL CODE, AND OTHER MATTERS RELATED THERETO.
Section I states that the purpose of this ordinance is to repeal existing chapter 5.05 SVMC and replace it
with a new chapter 5.05 SVMC relating to business license requirements. Section 2 repeals SVMC 5.05 in
its entirety. Section 3 adopts the new chapter 5.05 SVMC as contained in the ordinance. Section 4 concerns
severability, and Section 5 provides for an effective date.
